We know that Nintendo's next entry into the Super Smash Bros. series is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch later this year, and we now know that the game will have a seemingly large presence at this year's E3.

Nintendo announced plans to have the new Smash game available to play at their official booth at the expo for those that reserve tickets in advance to play "for fun" or play "for glory" matches against other attendees.

Interested players will need to register to attend E3 by May 31st where they will be later emailed a registration form to complete on June 5th in order to get a ticket to try out the game. Nintendo says that there will not be registration on site and tickets/ access will be allotted on a first come, first serve basis. Other Nintendo games at the booth will not require tickets to play.

Players can register for one of two types of tickets: "For Fun" for those that wish to play more casual matches against other people and "For Glory" to 'Test your skills and see how you stack up against other competitive players. Winners advance to play in up to three rounds, after which an overall winner is declared.'

Nintendo will also be holding a Smash Bros. Invitational event for the new game at E3 featuring Melee and Smash 4 players FOX|MKLeo, TSM|ZeRo, Alliance|Armada, Abadango, PG|Plup, BC|Mr. R, DIG|Lucky, and C9|Mango.

E3 2018 will be taking place between June 12th and June 14th at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. More information on the registration process can be found on Nintendo's E3 page.
