Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition's 'Season 3.5' balance patch has been in the hands of players for a month and a half now, so those playing the game regularly should have a decent sense of how their characters match up with the rest of the cast.

Today I wanted to take a look at the top 10 best/ worst match ups in SF5:AE from our tiers sections of the website where you guys, the readers, have been voting on how well you believe characters stack up against one another.

For those that don't know how match up scoring generally works, two characters are rated from a scale of 10 as to how well one does against the other in normal circumstances. A match up that is 5-5 is considered a generally even playing field, but say the Ryu-Ken match up was 6-4. This means that most voters believe that Ryu has at least a slight advantage over Ken in most sets.

These scores are an aggregate of the votes of the EventHubs readers for individual match ups, so they are not the be-all-end-all, definitive answers though they do give a good understanding as to how our community views characters and match ups in a game.

Taking a look at the current results, Zangief has six of the 10 worst match ups in the game right now which is not all to surprising as he sits at the bottom of the overall tier list as well. The characters he appears to struggle the most with seem to be those with long reach or range that can easily keep him at a distance like Menat, Urien and his long time rival, Guile.

The gallery below features a break down of those 10 match ups showing how players have voted since the start of Season 3.5. If you don't agree with the results and/or want to throw your hat into the ring, all you need is to register an account and head over to the tiers page to get started.
