Beyond the Summit's first Dragon Ball FighterZ event is less than a month away, and the final pool of players is nearly complete with only one spot waiting to be filled.

The open voting rounds for the summit came to a close earlier today locking in the five choices with the most votes after starting the round with 20 potential players. FOX|dekillsage edged his way to the top in the final seconds of the first cutoff to receive the first invitation of the voting round.

They will join the 10 previously invited players at the Summit of Power, including the likes of CYG|Go1, FOX|SonicFox and EG|NYChrisG, where the prize pool has grown from its initial $10,000 up to more than $24,000 currently from the money raised during the final voting period.

Funds raised from the voting round and the event's merchandise store also helped reach stretch goals for the event like a combo contest, Ginyu Force-themed photo shoot, a stream of casual sets and commentated Jenga matches among others.

The 16th and final spot will go to the player that places the highest without already having an invitation at Combo Breaker next weekend as a Last Chance Qualifier for the Summit of Power.

The Summit of Power will take place between June 8th and June 10th in Los Angeles California. You can check out the full roster of players after the jump.
