Updated: Bandai Namco seems to be hinting at something for Dragon Ball FighterZ, but we have no idea what it is

Rev up those conspiracy theories

5/16/18 13:20 PDT Update: It appears some cyber sleuths may have already cracked Bandai Namco's code, as Vegito made his first appearance in Dragon Ball Z in season nine, episode 268 (09268). 0628 may refer to the date June 28th which Bandai Namco has said now is not the release date for the new characters.

Earlier: Bandai Namco has been fairly creative on Twitter with how they've handled teasing new characters and information for Dragon Ball FighterZ like "hiding" Broly's reveal trailer inside of a cardboard box or posting chat logs that teased Zamasu, but this latest one has us stumped.

The publisher put up a tweet earlier today that reads "just playing #DRAGONBALLFighterZ at the office and taking notes!" with an image attached of the game's start screen on a monitor with a note on top with the number 092680628.

The number or sequence doesn't appear to be a standard date or time and simply googling the number does not yield any relevant results either. I also checked out the timeline for the Dragon Ball series to see if any dates there matched the numbers, but I found nothing noteworthy there either.

Their follow up responses point to the number being some sort of reference to a meme and potentially a cryptograph or cipher that will need to be decoded by the community to uncover its true meaning.

We do know that Super Saiyan Blue Vegito and Fused Zamasu are the next DLC characters coming to DBFZ, so there's a good chance that the numbers have something to do with them as they've been quiet about the characters since their trailers dropped. Bandai Namco could also just be sending us on a wild goose chase at this point too.

Do you have any idea what the numbers could mean? Let us know in the comments section.
