If you know anything about the competitive scene for Street Fighter, then you probably know who CYG|Daigo Umehara is. In Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition, he is one of the best Guile players in the world.

Recently, he went up against a competitor known as "Sandbag" in an online set. Sandbag is a grand master Akuma player. Luckily for Daigo, he already has some experience taking on the world's best Akuma player, FOX|Tokido.

Still, Sandbag is able to put on quite a fight. The winner is decided by the last game, last round, and last hit in this first-to-3 set.

Since Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition's big update, Daigo has been utilizing Guile's second V-Trigger, the Knife Edge. This time, he's back to fighting with V-Trigger 1, the Solid Puncher.

It seems that Akuma players have opted to stick with V-Trigger 1 while fighting against Guile. The offensive capabilities of this particular V-Trigger seem to outweigh the advantages offered by V-Trigger 2's chip damage scenarios.

Sandbag was able to get some clean wins against this legendary fighting game professional. This particular scenario really showcased his patience:
