Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition is getting a brand new set of costumes. This time, three characters will be dressing up as fighters from Capcom's Darkstalkers series.

Menat, Juri, and Urien will each receive a new DLC outfit based on characters from the fan-favorite fighting franchise. Urien will don the look of Donovan, Juri is Lilith, and Menat becomes Khaibit.

The costumes will run for $3.99 each on PlayStation 4 and Steam. They will be released on April 3rd.

You're probably wonder who or what Khaibit is. Never a playable character in the series, Menat's new costume resembles the look of Anakaris, and the Khaibit is tied to our favorite mummy fighter..

The Khaibit first appeared in Darkstalkers 3 as Anakaris’ partner, and was visible during certain move animations -- like Pharaoh Decoration. Khaibit later became a secret character in Capcom Fighting Jam Midnight Bliss.

Lilith is the manifestation of a portion of energy that was split from Morrigan by Belial and sealed. She is a cheerful succubus, and her goal is to reunite with Morrigan in order to continue her existence.

Lastly, Donovan Baine is half-vampire and half-human. After a horrible incident that saw his vampire side take over his being and drink the blood of everyone in his village, he devoted himself to Buddhism. In the Darkstalkers series, he travels with a little girl called Anita, who wields mysterious supernatural powers.

Fans have been waiting for a brand new installment in the Darkstalkers series for some time now. The prospect of seeing a new title in a similar style to, say, Street Fighter 4 or Street Fighter 5, is all too enticing.

Back at New York Comic-Con 2012, a cinematic trailer featuring popular Darkstalkers characters was shown. It concluded with the memorable "Darkstalkers are not dead" text, leaving viewers hopeful for a new game in the series.

In March 2013, we saw the release of Darkstalkers Resurrection. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 digital title was a collection of past entries, with new features like HD filtering, eight-person lobbies, replay uploads, and more.

Unfortunately, Darkstalkers Resurrection did not sell enough to be considered a success by Capcom.

Though it is uncertain if we'll ever see a modern-day Darkstalkers title, it is nice to see that Capcom is showing love to the series with these costumes in Arcade Edition.

Juri and Urien are both a part of Street Fighter 5's season 1 character pass, and Menat can be found in season 2's. If you want to pick up these characters on their own, however, you can opt to do so for $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money each.

Purchasing any of these characters (individually or through their character passes) with real money will grant you access to their Battle Costumes with colors 3-10 and Default Costume colors 3-10.
