Relive the most anticipated set of Dragon Ball FighterZ yet with this full replay of Sonic Fox vs. Go1 at Final Round

The call outs, the hype and the chance to change the Arc Sys game landcape; it all culminated here

This weekend's Dragon Ball FighterZ exhibition saw the two currently most celebrated players clash in a first to ten set to settle a few scores and answer a few important questions.

Dominating at seemingly everything he picks up, Dominique "FOX|SonicFox" McLean has already established that he'll go down as one of the fighting game hall of famers, and having just turned 20 at the beginning of March, some players have been competing longer than the young American has been alive.

Hailing from Japan, Goichi "CO|Go1" Kishida is one such seasoned veteran, known for his abilities across many titles with a particular knack for anime-style fighters such as DBFZ.

While Americans have been rising up to be at least comparable to Japan in fighting game ability, (after quite some time of Japanese domination) Arc System Works titles like DBFZ have still overwhelmingly been undisputed won by Japan.

Fox's abilities have been sharper and more quickly developed than perhaps any American player before him, and so the FGC saw him as the potential mold breaker after he emerged as the early FighterZ top dog in the West.

Streamed by Bifuteki, these two legends of fighting games met at Final Round to perhaps refresh the public view of the anime-style playing field. The set was brutal, and filled with sequences like the highlight here. You can view their bout in full in the video after the jump.

The first match begins at the 6:43 mark.
