Every year millions of people watch tournament streams since the rise of Twitch, and other platforms have taken notice with the likes of YouTube and more implementing and constantly updating their streaming suites to try to capture some of the streaming lightning in a bottle.

Starting this year, Capcom is expanding the number of platforms viewers can watch Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition majors, regional finals, and Capcom Cup broadcasts and more on beyond their Twitch exclusivity of the past.

Capcom announced today that starting with Final Round this weekend, Capcom Pro Tour events can be streamed and viewed from their Capcom Fighters Twitch channel same as before as well as live on YouTube and Street Fighter's Facebook account.

Capcom also stated their newly updated CPT website will also broadcast the tournaments live as well as offer the ability to watch past streams directly on the site.

It is hard to imagine any other platform beating Twitch for ratings or a mass migration of stream monsters, but having more places to watch tournament streams could only be a good thing moving forward.

How will you be watching Final Round this weekend, or will you be there yourself? Let us know in the comments.
