Earlier: The start of the 2018 Capcom Pro Tour is fast approaching. Next weekend, we'll be seeing the circuit's first Premier event, Final Round, take place in Atlanta, Georgia.

We're nearing 60 days since Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition -- the update that added a second V-Trigger for every character, as well as a number of character-specific balance changes -- was released, and players are starting to get a pretty good idea of which characters are strong and which aren't too hot this time around.

Around this time last year, Capcom confirmed that a mid-season set of balance changes was in the works for Season 2. The "2.5" patch, as it was unofficially called, was announced in early February 2017, followed by more information in March and an eventual launch on May 31st of that year.

"We have been analyzing player performance since the Season 2 balance changes. At this time, we can confirm additional changes are in the works to bring characters in-line with how we envision them to perform," Capcom wrote back during the initial 2.5 announcement.

As it was alluded to in the above statement, Season 2 featured a handful of characters that were overly powerful. Community outcry was loud about these "robbery" characters, which many believe to be one of the contributors to Capcom's decision to implement a mid-season set of changes.

With Season 3 well underway and consistent feedback from the community about characters such as Abigail, Rashid, and Guile, it brings about the question: will Capcom release a set of Season 3.5 balance changes?

We don't know the answer to that question, but what we want to know is what you, the reader, thinks. Should the game get more changes or do you want to see Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition as is for the rest of the year?
