From Jackie Chan to American Dad, she has been quite busy over the years

Today, the queen of fighting games and Ms. Street Fighter herself, Chun-Li, is turning 50 years old according to her character bio. That's right, it says the Interpol agent was born on March 1, 1968.

Now, in the games' actual timeline she probably hasn't passed 30 yet, but unfortunately (or fortunately) we live in the real world and aren't stuck forever in the 90s.

We could put together a gallery showing off her designs and appearances in the franchise throughout the years, but instead we are going to take a step outside of that box and show something a little different.

We are going to take a look at Chun-Li's branch out into pop culture and her appearances outside of the game franchise from other games to film and more. Some you will know, some you won't and some you will wish you could forget.

Let's start off with one of "her" more memorable appearances when legendary Jackie Chan cosplayed as the heroine in the 1993 movie City Hunter.

Many will remember Chun-Li was among the World Warriors featured as bosses in Street Fighter x Mega Man

Below is a gallery featuring Chun-Li as she appeared in Street Fighter Films and cartoons as well as her various cameos and references found in other media.

Of course, there are so many more references out there. The list could probably keep us here until next Tuesday. Hell, there's even an Arctic Monkeys song named after the character and her Spinning Bird Kick.

Chun-Li was featured in Screw Attack's Death Battle series where she faces off with the King of Fighters maiden Mai Shiranui.
