This is not a drill, folks. You can play as Cody in Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition right now, are servers are now back online.

As we previously reported, the new update that adds Cody, new Devil May Cry costumes, the Ring of Power stage, changes to Survival Mode and Fighting Chance (loot boxes) is currently available for download. The file comes in at 15.869 GB on PlayStation 4 and once it's finished installing, players can play Cody in the game's various modes.

Cody is available across all platforms at this time. Capcom is also running a free trial for Cody for the first two days of his release.

Ken and Ed are receiving their Devil May Cry costumes which transform them into Dante and Nero, respectively, today. You'll be able to purchase each for $3.99 USD.

This year's Capcom Pro Tour stage, Ring of Power, is also available now. The new backdrop will run you $9.99 USD, or you can opt to pick up the Capcom Pro Tour 2018 Premier Pass for $19.99 which includes the stage, special CPT costumes for Sakura and Akuma, as well as RISE|MenaRD's Champion's Choice costume for Birdie (when it is finally released).

Below are some screenshots of Cody in-game, as well as the slides for the new Fighting Chance mode and Survival changes.

Survival Mode changes

Street Fighter 5's brutal Survival Mode will see a number of updates added to it:

• Battle Goods (consumable items to aid you).
• The ability to continue, after losing, by spending 1,000 Fight Money.
• When continuing, you start with full health, EX Gauge, and V-Gauge.
• Saving your progress after clearing a stage.
• Standard or random select for opponents.
• Random select still keeps the same 'boss' characters every 10 fights.
• Random will expand the characters you face beyond the launch roster.
• Unused V-Gauge will now transfer over between stages.

Fighting Chance (loot boxes)

This is a brand new mode, hosted by Menat, which offers all sorts of different goodies. It costs 500 Fight Money to try it out. Menat will read your fortune, and this appears to be similar to loot box functions in other games. Here's are things you can win, note some are exclusive to the Fighting Chance mode:

• Battle Goods for Survival Mode.
• Unique colors only obtainable in Fighting Chance.
• Rare costumes only obtainable in Fighting Chance.
• Cammy’s Cannon Spike is one of these costumes (pictured below).
• More costumes will be added in over time.
• Classic pieces of Street Fighter art from across the series.

Upon logging in after the June 25th update, you'll receive one Fantasy Fortune Reading from Menat for free.
