WWE's Xavier Woods and NJPW's Kenny Omega will face off in Street Fighter once again next week at E3 with a twist

Both fighters will bring along two friends to face off in a team match

WWE's Xavier Woods (aka Austin Creed) and New Japan Pro Wrestling's Kenny Omega have had a rivalry spanning multiple years now, and they had been teasing their next rematch that we believed would happen at CEO 2018 like the previous two. Looks like we won't even need to wait that long.

Capcom posted a video to their Street Fighter Twitter account showing Brett from the company sitting down with the superstars and getting them to agree to terms to square off once again in Street Fighter 5.

Both wrestlers sign 'verbal contracts' to appear at E3 next week at the Capcom booth for their rematch that will be streamed on the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel to settle their score with a twist. They will be taking part in a team tournament using Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition's Team Battle mode where Mr. Woods and Mr. Omega will each bring along two partners for a 3v3 showdown.

Kenny Omega and Xavier Woods play the video like a wrestling promotion with loads of entertaining back-and-forth banter leading to Omega claiming he could beat Woods and all of his friends. Xavier Woods takes this as an offer for a team based challenge.

"I whooped that buttocks in front of all your fans, in front of all my fans, in front of all of the fighting game fans, and in front of fans all around the world," Kenny Omega exclaims of his CEO 2016 victory over Woods in Street Fighter 5.

We don't know who the wrestlers will choose as their partners, but they won't have much time to get their top picks. You can check out their full interaction in the video below. Trust me, it's worth it.
