Some people over Twitter were not thrilled with an article we produced yesterday, which called out the Season 3 cast members, sans Cody, for kind of sucking so far.

We follow up on this subject in this week's podcast, addressing some of the concerns we heard, and trying to clarify the angle and stance we put out there in the piece. For those who didn't see them, we also read off some of the tweets that didn't agree with the article.

We also get into Laura's resurgence in Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition this last weekend, as she doubled the amount of top 8s she had been in, so far in Season 3, and even managed to pull off an elusive victory at a ranking event.

Then we cover Daigo's first Capcom Pro Tour Premier victory, and where we think he falls in the field of competitors now, and the vast amount of points he accumulated by winning VS Fighting.

The crew touches on the happenings at San Diego Comic Con 2018, and how the event kind of bit from a fighting game perspective, but lead to a lot of discussion about Darkstalkers, which is coming in a future podcast.

Lastly, there's an in-depth discussion with Nicholas "MajinTenshinhan" Taylor, our tournament coverage specialist, and Velociraptor on the EVO 2018 entrance numbers and what they mean for the tournament and community.
