Think there's too many Gokus in Dragon Ball FighterZ? Well, Bandai Namco has a response for that
Bandai Namco jokingly fully embraces the meme and it's awesome
Gold Goku, Blue Goku, Pink Goku, and even Dad Goku. Recently, "Black Goku" — that's Goku with black hair and not Goku Black — was recently announced to be joining Dragon Ball FighterZ's roster alongside Base Form Vegeta.
Even two out of the three fusion characters, Super Saiyan Blue Vegito and Fused Zamasu, have a little bit of Goku in them. Fans of the series have no doubt taken notice of the fact that Goku is playable in many different forms.
It's easy to see why many fans are upset about this. There are still plenty of characters from the expansive lore that have yet to be added. Despite this, Goku continues to "join the fight" over and over again.
Still, at least all these forms play differently. While the character and some animations are being rehashed, the play styles are pretty unique. Goku will have access to a Kaioken booster and a Spirit Bomb while Vegeta will utilize the Galick Gun and Galaxy Buster.
As you might expect, this has prompted a few players to call out Bandai Namco by referring to the game as "Goku FighterZ." Apparently, someone over at Bandai Namco had a response to this comment.
In a hilarious fashion, Bandai Namco appears to be fully embracing "Goku FighterZ" as a joke. Check out the awesome response:
