We're now less than two weeks away from the largest fighting game tournament event taking place with EVO 2018, and we now know the order in which the top games will be played on Sunday for finals.

Joey "Mr. Wizard" Cuellar recently announced the full Sunday lineup for the massive event with five of the main eight titles being played at EVO 2018 plus their actual final numbers after opening up registration for an extra day.

There are no times specified for when the games will begin, but Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev2 will be the first game on the mainstage on Sunday followed by Super Smash Bros. Melee, Tekken 7, Dragon Ball FighterZ and ending with Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition.

Street Fighter titles have traditionally gotten top billing/ the final Sunday spot at EVO and also brought in the highest number of competitors which is not the case this year since Dragon Ball FighterZ ended with 91 more entrants than the latest entry in the Street Fighter franchise.

Dragon Ball FighterZ, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle's placements compared to their entrants sparked some confusion as to where games are slotted to which Mr. Wizard responded to on Twitter.

"The Sunday order has never been determined by entries," said Cuellar in response to questions on Twitter.

The final entrant numbers for EVO 2018 are higher now for every title after re-opening registration briefly last week. Dragon Ball FighterZ still sits on top with 2,575 entrants, SF5:AE now sits at 2,484, Tekken 7 is now at 1,538, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is at 1,354 entrants, Melee has 1,351 entrants, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle grew to 1,178, Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2 sits with 629 competitors and finally Injustice 2 with 363 entrants.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has over double the amount of entrants as Guilty Gear and is also slightly above Melee, but it and BlazBlue โ€” which also has almost double the amount of entrants as Xrd โ€” will have their finals on Saturday alongside Injustice 2.

It's not uncommon to have games held in the final position at major tournaments where they do not have the highest amount of entrants. Both VSFighting and Defend the North had titles in the final slot which weren't the largest tournament held at the event this past weekend.

A side stage will also be available to games not part of the official mainstage, but the full schedule for programming and titles have yet to be announced.

EVO 2018 will be taking place on August 3โ€“5 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can check out the breakdown of previous years' EVO numbers for comparison below.
