Android 18 never stood a chance

Touch of death combos have been a fairly viable strategy in the tournament scene for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Who could forget that moment when TSM|Leffen managed a touch of death against NRG|HookGangGod at Combo Breaker 2018?

While CO|Go1 was been dished out a few losses against FOX|SonicFox, HookGangGod, and GGP|Kazunoko during major events, an argument can still be made that he's still the best Dragon Ball FighterZ player. He still holds the highest number of tournament victories during the game's short time thus far.

Notably, Go1 isn't particularly well known for implementing touch of death combos into his game plan. Although there is an advantage to taking down one of your opponent's fighters early on, this is pretty resource intensive as it requires multiple bars of meter and Sparking Blast.

During Sonic Boom 2018, ENMA|Shanksended up running into Go1. It was here where Go1 decided to pull of his own touch of death combo.

The sequence started with Go1 activating his Sparking Blast mid-combo as Perfect Cell. Thanks to assists and tag-out supers from Bardock and Vegeta, Go1 was successful in completely draining the life bar of Shanks's Android 18.

While Go1 was ultimately able to win the set, it's worth noting that Shanks was actually able to win this match.
