With the recent release of Monster Hunter World and Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition, Capcom is celebrating with some special cross-promotion. Two contenders from the fighting title are joining the hunt.

Arcade Edition's Ryu and Sakura are becoming playable characters in Monster Hunter World by way of special armor sets, the company announced over the weekend.

The Capcom Unity blog post explains that Ryu and Sakura are full armor sets in-game -- this means you won't be able to equip other items along with parts of the Ryu and Sakura sets. However, both full armor sets can be equipped by both male and female hunters, and even change their voices to match the Street Fighters'.

In order to unlock these armor sets, players will have to participate in special quests to receive "SFV Tickets" that can be exchanged for the alternate looks. Starting in a few weeks, PlayStation 4 players who have Street Fighter 5 or Arcade Edition save data on their console will get first crack at the “Down the Dark, Muddy Path" Event Quest.

Complete the quest to earn your tickets reward item, then take it to the Smithy to get the Ryu armor set. Those who don't have the save data will see the event come back into rotation at a later time, though Capcom notes it won't be much longer after the early birds. Exact timing has not yet been revealed.

Shortly after this takes place, two new Event Quests will be added to the rotation for all players (PS4 and Xbox One). Completing them will get you new “SFV Tickets,” so you can craft the Ryu and Sakura sets.

In addition to the Ryu and Sakura armor sets, players will be able to pick up premium gestures featuring the classic Hadoken and Shoryuken special moves. These, as well as a new SFV Stamp set, will be available as DLC.

Below is the pricing breakdown:

Guild Card: Bonus Stage - FREE
Achievements: Rival, Destined, Living Legend and Bandana Girl - FREE
Pose: Shoryuken & Hadoken - FREE

Gesture: Street Fighter V Hadoken - $3.99
Gesture: Street Fighter V Shoryuken - $3.99
Stamp Set: Street Fighter V Set - $1.99

Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition is also getting its own set of Monster Hunter World costumes. Last week, Capcom announced new Extra Battle costumes for Ken, Ibuki, and R. Mika that transform them into male and female hunters, respectively.
