It's been announced over at Capcom Unity that Monster Hunter costumes are coming via the Extra Battle mode. Ken, R. Mika, and Ibuki will receive these armor get-ups.

Ibuki and R. Mika will obviously receive the female variants of the Monster Hunter outfits. Meanwhile, Ken will have a male version.

Like Rashid's Viewtiful Joe skin, these will have to be unlocked via the Extra Battle Mode. You must defeat each opponent in the game mode to receive an icon required to unlock them.

Each attempt will cost 2,500 FM. Being that there are four parts per costume, you can ideally unlock them with 10,000 FM each.

Ken will get the Rathalos Armor, Ibuki is receiving the Kirin Armor, while R. Mika finally will don the Zinogre Armor. Weapons come with the outfits too, but they are obviously cosmetic.

Ibuki's costume looks awfully similar to the alternate of the Monster Hunter that is playable in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Check them out:

The first challenge for Ken's piece of the Rathalos Armor will be available on February 27, 2018 until March 3, 2018. The second part will be obtainable on March 8th right up through the 15th.

From there, we'll have to unlock the third gem. The dates of availability will go on from March 15, 2018 until March 22nd. The last part of the armor can be unlocked starting March 22, 2018 but make sure you do it before the 29th.

The first date for R. Mika's Zinogre Armor will be March 8, 2018 through the March 25, 2018 for the first piece of gear. The second challenge will begin on March 15, 2018 and end on March 22, 2018.

As for the third challenge, it will be available starting from March 22nd until the 29th. Finally, the fourth gem will be obtainable on March 29th until April 5th.

Last but not least, we'll be able to begin grabbing pieces of Ibuki's Kirin Armor on March 15th through the 22nd. The second challenge commences March 22nd and will conclude on the 29th.

We'll be able to nab the third part beginning on March 29th until April 5th. The last part of this particular Monster Hunter series can then be won starting on April 5th until the 12th.

Interestingly enough, there is some overlap for these challenges. It will be important to have a lot of fight money saved up and ready before these dates start. Assuming you are able to defeat the opponents without any losses, 30,000 FM in total will be needed.

You'll want to make sure you complete these challenges in time when they become available. Remember that this is currently the only way to unlock these crossover costumes.
