With Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition set for release tomorrow, we're coming down to the wire. Capcom has pulled back the curtain on all of the new V-Trigger 2s, showed us the balance changes, and revealed new modes.

Today, we see an all new costume, this time for Karin.

Starting tomorrow, a new Ingrid alternate outfit will become available for purchase. Unlike the Viewtiful Joe costume, this one is not acquired by playing Extra Battle.

Instead, you can purchase it directly from the in-game store on PlayStation 4 and Steam.

Ingrid made her debut Capcom Fighting Evolution (2004). This title had a roster comprised of characters from Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, and Red Earth.

As an original character for the series, Ingrid was a mysterious force whose motives were unknown. Later, she was added to the Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX roster.

In a new blog post, Capcom Unity has shared information on the new costume, as well as a recap of the first Extra Battle costume schedule.

The Extra Battle challenges for the Viewtiful Joe costume begin tomorrow, January 16th. You will be able to take on four different challenges, and completing them all will net you the outfit.

As the blog notes, each challenge must be completed in the respective date range. Missing even one challenge will cause you to lose the opportunity to earn the special costume.

Each mission will reward you with a piece of the costume, and beating the challenge again after you've already successfully completed it will net you a decent amount of experience points.

If you're unfamiliar with Joe, he made his debut in his 2003 self-titled game, Viewtiful Joe. He is a movie fan who sets out on a quest to rescue his girlfriend Silvia in the world of Movieland.

Viewtiful Joe is a side-scrolling beat 'em up action game in which Joe utilizes “VFX Power” to alter the scenes and situations he encounters. In 2004, a sequel (Viewtiful Joe 2) hit store shelves and featured similar, but improved gameplay and a continuation of the story.

Since then, Viewtiful Joe has appeared in other fighting games, including Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Now, he'll be a part of Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition, kind of.
