Hit's awesome new Dragon Ball FighterZ gameplay trailer comes equipped with music that belongs in Cuphead

Not quite the track I expected, but it works well!

With Dragon Ball FighterZ's release only a couple of weeks away, Bandai Namco is quickly pumping out character trailers to better introduce the launch roster.

Today, we're given a closer look at Hit from the Dragon Ball Super series. An assassin from Universe 6, Hit is a powerful being that is over 1,000-years-old.

His Time Skip ability allows him to freeze time for one second (later increasing the amount of time by fighting Goku), which is how he is able to defeat opponents stronger than him.

Moving at incredible speeds, Hit has several attacks that leave the opponent frozen in place before feeling the full effect of the strike. This trailer shows off several of his moves, as well as his cinematic super.

The first thing you'll likely notice about this gameplay trailer is the music. One wouldn't expect an upbeat, Jazzy track that sounds like it came from Cuphead to line a montage of Hit beating on SSGSS Goku, but it does, and it fits pretty darn well.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is set for release on January 26th. An open beta test will kick off this Saturday.
