Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition will have training mode options that color your character based on frame advantage
If you recover before the opponent then you'll be colored blue; you'll be colored red if you recover after them
Recently, someone got a hold of Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition before its release date. This individual put up a video that demonstrates his claims.
While he was showing off some of the new content, HiFightTH and King Tay'Challa observed something interesting about the training mode's options. There is a setting that colors frame advantage.
According to the description while highlighted, your character will be colored blue if they should recover before the opponent after a connected attack. If they recover afterwards, then they will be tinted red instead.
Essentially what this means is that players won't have to look at frame data in order to figure out what is advantageous or otherwise. It gives a basic idea on whether or not you can pressure the opponent after certain scenarios.
As pointed out by Reddit user xeolleth, this setting will also display the exact amount of frame advantage. This will certainly help players with their training regiments.
There are a couple of other training mode options that we saw that are also interesting. We'll be taking a closer look at those a little later...
