Necalli may be losing his corner throw loops, but his V-Trigger 2 could make up for it

Vesper touches on Necalli's new moves as seen at The PlayStation Experience

Just a few days ago, I elaborated on my experiences playing Necalli back at Capcom Cup, specifically focusing on his two new V-Trigger moves.

Not only is Necalli seemingly retaining his extremely strong "Torrent of Power" state, but he's getting two new moves (one in each V-Trigger) in Arcade Edition. As I noted in said article, both of these moves seem relatively slow and will need to be implemented in specific situations as opposed to casually tossed out at a whim.

Vesper Arcade has taken a crack himself at analyzing the footage and information that came out of the PSX Street Fighter 5 build, and brings up a very interesting point.

One of the most immediately noticeable changes it seems the devs have made (the PSX build is not technically final, so further changes may occur) is the removal of corner throw loops.

Even in V-Trigger, Necalli can no longer score a meaty throw immediately after he's already thrown his opponent. However, using V-Trigger 2 (which sees him set a slow moving, five-hit fireball on the screen) could potentially make up for this entirely.

See all of what Vesper has to say in the video below. As a Necalli main, I'm particularly curious about the potential people see in these new moves. I'm sure we'll see them used prominently throughout Season 3, but I'm not sure exactly where yet.
