Patch notes for Street Fighter 5 coming "soon" according to official Street Fighter Twitter

The wait is almost over

That's right, you're reading the announcement about the announcement, but said announcement has been one that the Street Fighter community has been anxiously waiting for since December's incredible Arcade Edition reveal at PlayStation Experience/Capcom Cup.

Said reveal showed all six DLC characters for Street Fighter 5's third season, and almost immediately we saw a revival in hype surge through social media. This sentiment is perhaps best described by the "I guess it's time to re-install" statements that were seen prominently just after Capcom Cup concluded.

Today the official Street Fighter Twitter stated, in short and sweet fashion, "Patch notes will be posted soon!"

"Soon" could mean sometime later today just as much as it could mean sometime in the next two weeks, but we're furiously refreshing the front page over at Capcom Unity so as to be ready to share the info here as soon as it's up.

We've been able to see footage of what may or may not be the final build of Arcade Edition, (which drops on the 16th) but we have yet to get any textual details about how characters are changing.

Though we won't really know how tiers will shape up until the community as a whole has had some time with Arcade Edition, this will be a huge step toward unveiling the Season 3 landscape as it pertains to which characters will be most dominant in competitive play.

Thank you to Phtm_Miria and FrozenFacade for the submissions.
