Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite isn't the first game where Spider-Man with the Reality Stone caused problems

D-NO shows weird Marvel Super Heroes glitch that sends Hulk under the stage

Not long after Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite's release back in September of last year, players discovered an infinite combo that involved Spider-Man and the Reality Stone. By capturing the opponent in Spidey's Web Ball and hitting the Reality Stone's Infinity Surge (a homing projectile) at the same time, it was possible to keep your opponent trapped until they decided to counter switch.

Needless to say, this unintentional result of the two moves used in conjunction was patched out of the game. What's interesting, though, is that Spider-Man and the Reality Stone apparently have a past.

D-NO recently uploaded a couple of Marvel Super Heroes clips on Twitter that showcase an odd glitch involving Spider-Man and, you guessed it, the Reality Stone.

In the first set up, Spider-Man uses his Web Throw with the ice effect of the stone. When Hulk is pulled down by the web, he is sent underneath the stage, and actually flips upside down while retaining the ability to move around.

The second clip has a similar premise, but instead uses the fire effect. This time, Hulk goes sailing through the air, indefinitely, while on fire.

Depending on how you look at it, it seems that Spider-Man and the Reality Stone have a tendency to be BFFs in the versus series. Either that, or the combination is a nightmare -- especially for those who have been trapped in the infinite before.
