He is extremely basic, but can call assists from the Ginyu Force and swap bodies; Maximilian breaks down Captain Ginyu in Dragon Ball FighterZ

Once he swaps bodies with the opponent, they'll get an even more basic version of Ginyu who can't call upon his force assists

Maximilian has returned with another character breakdown for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Previously he covered Goku Black, Hit, Beerus, Adult Gohan, and Kid Buu.

So who is he doing a breakdown of this time? It's everyone's favorite body swapper: Captain Ginyu of the Ginyu Force himself.

Right off the bat, Maximilian notes that Captain Ginyu is actually one of the most limited fighters in the game in terms of special abilities. This character is not armed with crazy offensive or defensive options; he's very basic in design.

Seeing as how he is the captain of the Ginyu Force (obviously), he is able to call for aid from the other four members. He has a Recoome assist, a Guldo assist, a Burter assist, and a Jeice assist. It's order dependent on which of the members will attack when you press the special button.

By performing a fireball motion with the special Ki button, the Ginyu Force member that comes out will perform a different attack -- albeit in the same order. In one attack, Burter and Jeice will attack in sequence together.

But of course, the most interesting thing about Captain Ginyu is his body swap super. Interestingly enough, the other player will NOT have access to the Ginyu Force members while swapped.
