Dragon Ball FighterZ balance adjustment gives characters instant cross-up protection after snap

Looks like Goku Black won't be the new Vergil after all...

The Dragon Ball FighterZ patch has already been released. For the most part, this applied a number of fixes to some known bugs.

One patch note in particular appears to have effects on gameplay. "A bug where after a Dragon Rush forced character switch, if you used a move that will switch your position to your opponent's, the hitbox would become reversed, has been fixed."

After performing a Dragon Rush technique, you can press the assist button to perform what is known as a "snap back." The character that is pulled out is dependent on which assist input was activated.

Once you put the opponent in this situation, their next fighter will enter the fight while in an airborne state. During this, you can actually cross under them and potentially setup an instant cross up attack.

This adjustment appears to address this exact scenario. It looks like combatants are now given some sort of "instant cross-up protection" property after a snap.

ApologyMan and 20-SECOND BLOCKSTRING‏ have both reported this on Twitter. Here's a look at the sequence before and after the patch:
