Leonardo's Shredded special in Injustice 2 will be a blast from the past for those that hated Aquaman's pre-patched Trident Rush

8% chip damage blockstring

With the Ninja Turtles now being available in Injustice 2 for pack owners, players are already figuring out some fun stuff regarding these shelled ninjas. While Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello are all technically tied to one character slot, they all function quite differently.

One of Leonardo's specials is named "Shredded." This will allow him to go into a flurry of blade swings that the opponent must respect.

He'll also have the ability to meter burn it for two additional swings at the end. I imagine this will dish out a large amount of chip damage if tacked on at the end of a blockstring. Leonardo will also be left at -5 on block, so he'll remain relatively safe as a result.

Those that might remember Aquaman's pre-patched trident rush knows how strong of an option this is at the end of the round. Unavoidable chip damage from moves like this can win tournaments.

ALG Dragon‏ has demonstrated just how much chip damage this can inflict. So far it can drain as much as 8% if you block all the swings after a typical blockstring.

Don't lie... you know you miss seeing Mr. Aquaman in the audience reenacting Aquaman's Trident Rush. Maybe he'll perform a few imitations of Leo's Shredded specials at tournaments going forward...
