The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are officially joining the Injustice 2 battle tomorrow. We've seen quite a bit of the game's next DLC character (they all count as one) over the past week or so, and one thing's for sure: these turtles are filled to the brim with personality.

A video from YouTube user MaximumGuarded collects and showcases the various intro interactions between the TMNT and Batman. These characters have had run-ins in the past, with crossovers taking place in the comic books, and with all of them having ninja training there are some great lines spoken here.

These intros treat us to epic dialogue such as the exchange featured in this story's banner. There are also several references to Master Splinter, and the best out of the bunch might actually be Donatello's.

The NetherRealm Studios crew held a live stream last week that provided a breakdown of how the turtles function in Injustice 2. During the broadcast, we learned a number of interesting things, including the fact that Mikey can actually eat pizza in matches using a special gear move.

There is an obvious attention to detail in Injustice 2, with a plethora of Easter eggs and references crafted specifically for hardcore fans of comic books and the characters in general. We've already seen signs of a similar motif with the Ninja Turtles, as Mikey's skateboard features a reference to a classic TMNT video game.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are set for release tomorrow for Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition, Injustice 2 Ultimate Pack or Fighter Pack #3 owners. They will become available for standalone purchase beginning February 20th on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, and Microsoft Store for $9.99.

While you wait, be sure to check out our character breakdown recap from the Watchtower stream to see what the turtles are all about in Injustice 2.
