Android 16 looks to be the best character while Hit and Goku Black are the most well-rounded

Dragon Ball FighterZ was released on January 26, 2018. It hasn't even been a full month yet. Despite this, many top players are beginning to break the game down.

Is it too early to talk about tier lists? Probably. Do we, the fighting game community, love doing it anyways? Duh!

Professional player Dominique "FOX|SonicFox" Mclean is looking like he'll end up being a particularly fierce competitor for the game. This isn't surprising considering his successes in Skullgirls, Mortal Kombat X, Injustice, and other fighting games.

This is an individual that has a very strong understanding of the genre. He's able to figure out the strengths of characters and see potential in them that might've otherwise go unnoticed.

Recently, he created an early tier list for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Fighters that are higher on the "y plane" (up and down) are seen as being top tier while the more downward ones are low tiers. Meanwhile, those found to be further right on the "x plane" are said to be more well-rounded; the leftmost combatants tend to have more faults about them.
