Dragon Ball FighterZ has been in the hands of the public for about a week now. The fast-paced, 3v3 fighting title from Arc System Works lets fans choose some of their favorite characters from the series and engage in exciting and explosive bouts against one another.

Today marks the release for the game in Asia, and with it comes some sales information for the game from Bandai Namco. The company reports that Dragon Ball FighterZ's combined shipments and digital sales have reached two million.

According to Gematsu, this is the fastest game in the Dragon Ball series to reach two million.

Though this is undoubtedly an impressive feat, it isn't all that surprising. The demand for a tournament-level Dragon Ball fighting game has been very high for years, and what Arc System Works developed has proven to be a hit in the fighting game community, with many top players trying their hand at it and a constant stream of tech and combo videos on social media.

On top of that, Dragon Ball FighterZ appeals to the casual market. With game mechanics like auto combos and the easier special move inputs across the board, there is something for everyone in this game.

The game was also well received by critics, with several large gaming publications assigning the game a 9/10 rating.

Things are looking pretty bright for Dragon Ball FighterZ already, and we still have eight DLC characters coming down the pike.

The identities of these eight characters were reportedly leaked by way of datamining. They include Broly, Bardock, and six others, though they obviously have not yet been officially confirmed.

We here at EventHubs put together a list of the characters we'd like to see join the battle as DLC. Be sure to check it out and let us know your picks!
