Street Fighter 5's Sponsored Content is now unavailable after only two weeks though its disappearance was planned in advance

Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition added in a new way to earn Fight Money by viewing in-game advertisements and ad placements on costumes via Sponsored Content only two weeks ago, but it has already effectively disappeared from the game... for the moment at least.
Trying to select colors 3โ10 on an 'Ad Style' costume will currently give the error message "the sponsor is currently not available, so you cannot use the selected color." On top of that, loading screen and stage advertisements have also been turned off.
Initial reactions may lead some to believe that the feedback and criticism of the new additions may have led Capcom to remove them, but that does not appear to be the case here. The initial posting for the Capcom Pro Tour ads stated that the event was scheduled to run December 11โ25.
The other in-game posts regarding the Sponsored Content also appear to back up that the ads will come and go at times noting that they will "change intermittently" and "if a sponsorship is not available at the time and you selected any colors from 3-10 of the Ad Style outfit in your battle settings, you will be forced to use colors 1 and 2."
Street Fighter 5's producer, Yoshinori Ono, released a statement following the conclusion of Capcom Cup 2018 thanking the community for their feedback about Sponsored Content and that they will look in to improving the feature in the future โ so they may appear differently when they do make their return.
Capcom has yet to announce future plans regarding the return of Sponsored Content or any changes it may receive, but you can still look over Ono's statement and Street Fighter 5's in-game text about the feature below.
