The Mortal Kombat fan base has been twiddling thumbs for a good six months now as they expected NetherRealm Studios would likely reveal something about a new Mortal Kombat title way back at E3 2018.

We're closing out the year and outside of knowing that the company is working on some new title, we've really had no official news on the matter.

Unofficially, however, a few potential leaks have surfaced on 4chan (which have since been removed) which claim to reveal certain aspects of an upcoming Mortal Kombat 11. These range from characters that will be included, characters that will not be included, game modes, proposed developer support windows and more.

Maximilian recently created a video wherein he covers all of these alleged truisms and offers his two cents as to how likely many of them are to come to any real fruition.

The idea of something titled "animation cancelling" was brought up in the leaks. Speculation here is that this has something to do with the general game play flow, which has been criticized to various extents over NRS' last four titles.

With the Game Awards just a few days away, (December 6th) there's some major speculation that we'll be getting our first official glimpses of Mortal Kombat 11. Check out Max's video below to hear everything and let us know what you think we'll be seeing in the comments after.
