I can't help but love a stylish combo first thing in the morning. Fortunately, that's exactly what we have here to start off our day.

As you've probably noticed, Ed is a character we don't see all that often in high level Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition play. That hasn't stopped a handful of strong competitors from using the Season 2 newcomer.

One such competitor goes by the name of AkachiRyan, and at the most recent Syndicate eSport monthly Street Fighter 5 online tournament, this player pulled off a stylish sequence using Ed's V-Trigger 1.

HiFight managed to grab the clip and shared it on Twitter the other day, and we're glad he did. Going up against Neon, a very strong Kolin player, Ryan applied pressure by frame trapping with Ed's standing medium punch.

After several blocked punches, the Ed player found an opening with a counter hit, directly firing into a standing medium kick cancelled into V-Trigger 1. Using Ed's V-Trigger 1 — a slow-moving, multi-hit projectile — AkachiRyan was able to use several dashes and the appropriate sequence of attacks to pull of an extended combo that walked Kolin all the way to the corner.

As noted by the commentators, this is easily a combo you'd see reserved for the training room as the difficulty of performing it in a real match is quite high. Yet, Ryan managed to not only do it, but wow us in the process.
