Android 17 to join him?

Cooler was revealed to be among the next characters coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ as DLC with his surprise announcement at EVO 2018 along with the release dates for Base Form Goku and Vegeta. Now it appears we know when Frieza's brother will be playable as well.

The latest issue of V-Jump in Japan revealed more about the character including that he'll be released during the month of September according to Ryokutya2089 — which is fairly soon after the release of Base Form Goku and Vegeta since they just came out a little over a week ago.

This also likely means that Android 17 will be revealed soon since all DLC characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ have released in pairs going back to Broly and Bardock, and 17 was listed on the data-mined DLC roster earlier this year which has turned out to be seven-for-seven so far.

The V-Jump issue also detailed Cooler's Super moves and their names including his Meteor special Atomic Super Nova and likely points to him having three total Supers in the game.

A Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ is also dropping on September 28th in the West, so perhaps we'll see the new characters drop in time to be ready for the launch of the new port.

You can check out the full description of the Supers after the jump.

Cooler's Supers

Death Fall - A power dive attack similar to Frieza’s Nova Strike.

Death Crusher - Hits enemies to walls or the floor when landing the hit.

Meteor Attack

Atomic Super Nova - A super giant energy attack following a combo. When used on the ground it is a counter move. While used in the air it is a command grab.
