Ono drops his trademark hint to signify something new is likely on the way from Capcom at EVO 2018

We already have a pretty good guess as to what it is

Competitors are already reporting they've touched down in Las Vegas as the start of EVO 2018 is just over a day away.

Along with three full days of non-stop action involving nearly every last one of the best fighting game players in the world we expect to see developers show off some of the incoming content for games new and already existing.

Capcom's Yoshinori Ono has taken to Twitter to offer up yet another one of his trademark teases that involve something new coming from "Blanka's pocket" as he routinely puts it.

"Our Street Fighter team leave San Francisco for joining EVO 2018! Blanka's pocket is likely torn... ;P #EVO2018," he states. Traditionally the concept of something being in Blanka's pocket means a new character reveal, which makes sense considering EVO will attract as many eyes as any other event.

We suspect the surprise will be the unveiling of the next DLC character for Street Fighter 5, namely G. We know virtually nothing about this fighter except for the brief appearance he had in the SF5 DLC reveal trailer from December of last year.

Perhaps there will be more from SF5 and Capcom, though last year we only got the Abigail trailer. You can click the thumbnail here to see the full tweet along with the image Ono included, complete with Blanka doll:
