In the upcoming Dragon Ball Super movie, Goku will be facing off against some Saiyan opponent. So what makes this new antagonist special that he deserves a movie?

The heroes of the Dragon Ball series have faced off with Saiyan opponents before. Their first encounter with the Saiyan race, Raditz, Nappa, and Vegeta, was appropriately called the "Saiyan Saga." Their latest bout with those of Goku's own race had them fighting the Saiyans of Universe 6 -- Cabba, Kale, Caulifla, and Kefla (the fusion of Kale and Caulifla).

Supposedly this new movie will reveal the origins of the Saiyan race. That, and the fact that the words "Saiyans have no limits" appear in the leaflets and movie trailer has fans speculating on who the opponent might be.

Many believe the main antagonist to be the original Super Saiyan God, Yamoshi. This is the character that the legend of the Super Saiyan God, as told by Shenron, was based off of.

Interestingly enough, he appears to have a green glow about him in the movie trailer, similar to that of Broly and Kale. He'll likely have access to powerful transformations so that he can pose a threat to Goku's Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, and Ultra Instinct forms.

Considering that Bardock and Broly have joined the roster of Dragon Ball FighterZ as DLC characters, it's possible we may someday see this particular fighter also join at a later date. It could depend on his popularity. These leaflets have been distributed at theaters in Japan:
