Those forward heavy punch buffs though...

Despite major fan anticipation (and continued fan support) Capcom's treatment of Alex in Street Fighter 5 has been, at least if you ask those who use him, miserably meme-worthy.

We can't say much to argue against this, as the Hulk Hogan-esque fighter has routinely been present at the bottom of most every informed player tier list.

The recent Season 3.5 patch brought with it a handful of help for Third Strike's main protagonist, but is it what needed to climb to a respectable place on the roster?

Vesper Arcade puts Season 3.5 Alex under the microscope in a recent video to take an in depth look at his changes and the implications they offer.

With new combo and set up potential, a little more damage and some better frame data, things are looking better for Alex than ever before. The question is, will it be enough?

Give Vesper's video a watch and then please let us know what you think of him now, especially if he's your main character.
