Some new information pertaining to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite and its first wave of DLC characters has potentially surfaced this morning. According to the alleged leak, Street Fighter 3 final boss Gill will round out the first season pass.

A post on Reddit by a user named SeraphimWing claims to have detailed information on the upcoming DLC and a handful of other things. Firstly, this person claims that the first six additional characters are as follows: Sigma, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Venom, Monster Hunter, and Gill.

Five of the aforementioned fighters have been referenced in previous rumors/leaks, but Gill is entirely new. The post describes him as "a hard hitting character who can deal heavy amounts of damage thanks to his powerful normals."

It goes on to say that Gill will have all of his Street Fighter 3 special moves at his disposal, and will have the ability to perform his trademark resurrection. It is said that the revival will cost 3 bars of meter and once used in a match, it can't be used again. The user also claims that Gill will not be able to be revived by the Soul Stone.

The supposed leak also says that the DLC characters will be released in pairs starting on October 3rd. They will cost $5.99 individually or can be purchased as a pair for $10, and all six are expected to drop this year.

Obviously, all of this should be taken with a grain of salt as the Reddit user did not provide information on their sources. However, Maximilian did put together a video discussing the potential leak and notes that their may be some validity to it.

Max follows MvCI and its leaks very closely, so him finding aspects of these claims believable is certainly interesting. You can check out his video after the jump.
