'Poor tag system, glitchy, laggy, mindless set play...' - Marvel god ChrisG rants about Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite

Despite a long list of complaints, top Marvel player still deems the game 'really fun'

One of the greatest players to touch Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has come forward with a handful of initial reactions to the brand new Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, almost all of them fairly negative.

Christopher "EG|ChrisG" Gonzales took home the gold for UMvC3 at EVO 2016, crowning his massive list of accomplishments and further solidifying his status as one of the three Marvel gods.

We're officially three weeks into MvCI's life now, and it seems as though Chris has more than a few issues with Infinite. The Evil Genius took to social media to share his not-so-subtle thoughts on the latest in the Versus Series:

"Combo potential is limited, (every flight character does the exact same combo). Everything does 6k [damage.] 2v2 game with 'no assists.' Glitches..." he starts.

The entire rant is filled with issues that need to be fixed according to Chris, but he does slip in a quick "the game is really fun" right near the end. Though this post makes us initially feel as though Gonzales wants almost nothing to do with Infinite, it seems he does enjoy playing.

Perhaps he'll soon follow up with a similar post that lists the positives of MvCI, and that highlights the specific details that make it really fun to play for him.
