Yesterday, we reported on a glitch that was recently discovered in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Known as the "hitstun deterioration" glitch, if players meet certain conditions during a combo, they can reset the hitstun decay which allows for way more hits and damage than normally possible.

With the initial story, we included a couple of examples of the HSD glitch in action, as well as steps on how you might be able to perform it yourself. Be sure to check out the original post for the details.

Earlier today, we were sent an absolutely insane Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite combo, created by G.X on Twitter, that pushes the limits of what players can do when they utilize this glitch.

We see the combo begins with Thanos' command throw, and after a relatively short sequence, Dante is brought in for the first implementation of the glitch.

Most times we see a move that uses fixed hitstun -- an attack that keeps the opponent trapped in it until the animation is over -- in this combo, the glitch is being activated. You'll notice that the partner will land an attack right after the fixed hitstun move ends, which is where the hitstun reset is taking place.

By using the HSD glitch, this player was able to pull off a devastating 292-hit combo. Check it out below.
