Over 100 endings in Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition's long awaited single player mode

Ending is determined by player performance

Just going off the title of the Street Fighter 5 Arcade Edition update, it's pretty easy to see at least one of the new features that Capcom is promising. It's quite literally in the title.

We are finally getting the long awaited arcade mode. While this is mostly good for the casual experience, it has been a staple of the fighting game genre since its inception.

As an added bonus, we are also going to get characters endings after completing this mode. Based on how Capcom describes it, it sounds like there will be multiple endings per character.

"Choose from six different paths and compete in matches against CPU opponents to reveal unique endings based on player performance." We usually only see one ending per character after completing the game's main single player mode.

This seems to imply that we'll probably get about two endings per character, right? A "good" ending and a "bad" ending maybe?

Well, based on this image that BornFree took of Capcom's presentation at the New York Comic Con, there may be even more than that:

"More than 100 endings in total!" That is certainly a lot of endings.

As of this moment there are 27 characters in the game. There is one more character that is scheduled to be released to finish off Season 2 which will make 28 characters.

Assuming Capcom continues the formula of releasing six DLC characters per season, then that would make a total of 34 characters at the end of Season 3. It's not really known if these "100+ endings" will include the Season 3 cast or not.

This essentially means that each character will have three to four endings. It really looks like Capcom is pulling out all the stops for this update.
