Gaming, or eSports, aren't sports, nor should they try to be. Being a professional fighting game player, for example, is often seen as a mental feat rather than a physical one.

In a video clipped by Noble|Vagabond, RISE|Smug displays his own athletic ability. He is able to hop over the king sized bed and land on the other side.

You definitely get the sense that this wasn't the first time Smug has attempted this. Many FGC players in recent times have cited a physical component to their performances in tournaments, so you're seeing more gamers get in better shape to compete at the highest of levels.

CYG|Daigo, for example, is a player that once explained he was going to the gym for the purposes of being mindful of his own physical health and to combat the cultural image that people who play games only sit inside and don't exercise.

Meanwhile, RB|Bonchan has noted before that he was very tired after going to tournaments. It was FOX|Tokido who inspired him to train himself physically.

While Smug is certainly a very talented Street Fighter 5 player, it appears like he'd be no slouch if he wanted to participate in physical sports as well. His performance here is certainly very convincing of that.
