Street Fighter Transformer action figures... the toy you never knew you wanted?

Yep, they're a thing

Think they'd stop at Tekken with Street Fighter crossovers? Think again.

Takara Tomy (Partner of Hasbro, co-creators and Japanese distributors of the Transformers) is coming out with Street Fighter Transformer figures next year.

These figures will indeed turn from character into vehicle and there will be four different characters offered: Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken and M. Bison (missed opportunity: no Abigail).

These are actually repaints of existing Transformer toys from the Titans Return and Generations lineup. Ryu is a repaint of Titans Return Optimus Prime, M. Bison (Vega/Dictator) is a repaint of Titans Return Megatron, Ken is a repaint of Titans Return Hot Rod and lastly, we have a Chun-Li repaint of Generations Arcee.

They will be sold in two-packs, Ryu with M. Bison and Ken with Chun-Li. It appears that these will only be sold in Japan at this point, but Hasbro might bring them over to the West as well.

We've nabbed a few images from the Planet Iacon Facebook page so you can see all four of these upcoming toys. Let us know if you're more excited or perplexed at the notion of Street Fighter Transformers.
