As we draw nearer to the end of the year and the PlayStation Experience in December, fans are anxiously awaiting the reveal of Street Fighter 5's third season. With the first two seasons of the game, we saw six new DLC characters (each) added to the roster, and the community anticipates another six in 2018.

At this point in time, we do not know who these six characters are, or if there are even that many new fighters inbound. We have heard a lot of rumors over the last couple of weeks, though.

Last night, a person who has proven to be very credible in the past shared some potential details on what six characters could be coming next year.

If you've followed Street Fighter 5 closely, you have probably heard the name "flowtron" at some point. This EventHubs user predicted all of the game's Season 2 characters, down to intricate details such as Ed seeing a makeover and Abigail being even taller than Hugo.

In their latest comment, flowtron makes mention of six new fighters: Sagat, Sakura, Blanka, "mayor," "another bae," and "president." Another bae is a reference to the initial prediction of Menat, which was described as "Egyptian bae" at first.

Flowtron notes that their connection with Capcom is no more, and that they do not know who the Season 3 cast will be with certainty.

Though we should take these predictions with a grain of salt, the specificity of the choices here is definitely intriguing.

In the past, flowtron mentioned Sagat and Sakura as locks for Season 3, however, they note that the characters won't play as they did back in Street Fighter 4.

They went on to say that, contrary to community belief, Oro, C. Viper, Q and Necro will not be in the game's third season. The latest rumors work around this by saying that these four fighters will be given to players, for free, with the Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition update in January 2018.

As always, nothing here is official word. We will likely be seeing big announcements made on this front at the PlayStation Experience next month, and we may even get a glimpse at something as early as this weekend at the Red Bull Battle Grounds.
