It seems that things are looking way up for SNK right now.

The company recently shared their latest financial report in the Official Gazette's latest publication, and Siliconera reports that the numbers are very strong.

The financial statement notes that SNK's sales hit 4.281 billion yen from August 2016 to July 2017. This is up from the 3.203 billion yen the company saw during the same period last year.

SNK's ordinary income for this period was 1.986 billion yen, another increase over last year's 1.317 billion yen.

The largest increase, however, came from their net profit. According to the financial statement, this number comes in at a staggering 3.105 billion yen for the aforementioned term, which is a major change from the 558 million yen the prior year.

Siliconera reports a large increase in both sales and profits for the company, putting them and their accumulated profit back in the plus.

In August 2016, we saw the official release of King of Fighters 14. In the months that followed, the company implemented an overhaul to the game's graphics and released four DLC characters: Rock Howard, Vanessa, Yamazaki, and Whip.

Back in July 2017, there were rumors that the game would see an additional 11 DLC characters, however, there has been no official information on that front.
