Infiltration, MOV, XSK_Samurai, Alex Myers, Nemo, LPN, and more are already signed up for the Capcom Cup 2017 Last Chance Qualifier

Who will qualify for that last spot?

It's been announced over at Capcom Unity that the Capcom Cup 2017 Last Chance Qualifier registration is now live. This is certainly one of the most important tournaments for the Capcom Pro Tour.

Whoever wins this tournament will be given a guaranteed spot on the Capcom Cup. A number of players are gunning for this final spot, so there's definitely a lot on the line here.

Players that are already signed up include GRPT|MOV, GRPT|Infiltration, XsK_Samurai, Tempo|Alex Myers, AW|Nemo, LPN, EG|Ricki Ortiz, Infused|Imstilldadaddy, and stormKUBO. Remember that players that are already qualified are not allowed to compete in this tournament.

In other words, there will be no participants that are only there for the sake of gatekeeping. All the competitors mentioned above are currently not qualified.

Among these contenders, only one of them can potentially qualify at this point. It's hard to imagine seeing a big tournament like Capcom Cup without a number of these individuals.

Depending on what happens at the North American finals, Scarz|Sako may or may not also be qualified. He may end up participating in the Last Chance Qualifiers too.

Capcom Cup 2017 matches will be start being played out on December 8th and the 9th at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel. They will be free to spectate.

The finals, however will take place during the PlayStation Experience at Anaheim Convention Center. It is noted that this time spectators will need a PSX pass in other to attend.

As for the Last Chance Qualifier, it will take place on December 8th. There is a $20 entry fee that is required to compete.
