Shin Akuma modded into Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, complete with new moves and awesome animations

When Capcom announced that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 would be coming to PC, we were excited for the fact that the game would be getting yet another gust of wind beneath it, and that the community would have yet another avenue through which to enjoy the iconic classic.

What we should have been excited for was mods potential.

Spuaidatab has created a mod for Akuma that allows the demonic fighter to enter his ascended "Shin Akuma" form. This enhances some of his special moves and gives him access to an all new Super:

SHIN AKUMA MODE MOVE CHANGES


- Shin Akuma mode Super added on down down, atk+S. gives Shin Akuma versions of most moves
- Akuma gains meter at 50% rate during the mode, assists stay the same
- Startup is 20+20 so it's pretty damn long to start up. No invulnerability on startup
- Most specials have recovery reduced
- Akuma ground fireball has 7 durability, fires tenma fb. has slightly more hitstun
- Air fireball shoots two fireballs, including one from demon flip
- Ground Tatsu travels farther
- Air Tatsu has slightly less landing recovery
- Demon flip can be canceled 5f earlier
- Teleports all start 5f faster
- Air Shoryuken
- Raging Demon crumples on hit
- There is a classic super on taunt w/ it's motion, from 'a good game'. 5 bars and Shin mode only
