Ed officially revealed as Street Fighter 5 Season 2's next DLC character, check out his trailer here
As we expected, Ed is the game's next playable fighter. Players will be able to try him out, for free, during Street Fighter 5's upcoming beta which begins on Thursday, May 11th.
From what we can see, Ed uses a boxing-heavy playstyle mixed with psycho power projectiles. According to Capcom Unity's latest blog, Ed's special move inputs are unique in that they only require multiple or held button presses to perform, no traditional directional inputs. This applies for all of his moves, except Critical Art.
Ed will come along with his Story costume, which gives him the hoodie from SF5's cinematic story mode, and a Battle costume that has influences of M. Bison.

With Balrog as his caretaker, Ed's fighting style revolves around boxing, but is enhanced by psycho power due to the M. Bison genes inside of him.
In Street Fighter 5, Ed is haunted by Bison's ghost, and constantly battles to keep M. Bison from possessing his body.
V-Moves / Critical Art
V-Skill: Psycho Snatcher - Ed releases Psycho Power from his palm, pulling himself or opponents depending on how long he charges it up. V-Trigger: Psycho Cannon - With a full V-meter, Ed releases an enormous amount of Psycho Power. He can follow alongside it, allowing him to pepper in shots when it connects with the opponent. Critical Art: Psycho Barrage - Ed lunges forward with a series of punches. If at any point he connects, he’ll continue weaving around the opponent, slipping in quick combinations of Psycho-punches ending with a powerful uppercut.
