One of the FGC's most heated rivalries continues: K-Brad and Wolfkrone will face each other again in today's ELeague group

If you've been following the competitive Street Fighter 5 scene since the launch of Season 2, you might have heard a bit about one of the FGC's hottest rivalries. Evil Geniuses' own Kenneth "K-Brad" Bradley and Joshua "Wolfkrone" Philpot have been butting heads for some time now.

The two competitors started out as friends / training partners, going as far back as the early Street Fighter 4 days. After some personal disagreements, though, things just haven't been the same.

Recently, the social media trash talk and animosity between K-Brad and Krone has started rearing its head during live tournament streams.

Back in January at the Frosty Faustings event, Wolfkrone emerged victorious, 2-1, from his Street Fighter 5 set with K-Brad. Immediately after winning, Krone launched into a pop off, washing his hands of the set and brushing K-Brad off stage.

At Final Round 20 earlier this month, K-Brad fired back. Defeating Wolfkrone 2-0, the Cammy player stood up, got in Krone's face, and gave the FGC one of the greatest and most memorable pop offs of all time.

The Street Fighter 5 ELeague invitational continues on today, marking the third day of the tournament's action. Group C will be playing out their preliminary matches, meaning we'll be seeing another eight competitors battling it out in round robin format.

Both K-Brad and Wolfkrone are in this group and they will be facing off at least once during today's broadcast.

With Wolfkrone coming off of a loss the last time the two met in tournament, one might wonder how he is feeling about the runback at ELeague. Luckily, Ryan Hart recently ran into the Laura player and recorded a quick word with him about the upcoming set.

You can check out what he had to say below.

We can't say for certain that there will be another epic pop off between Wolfkrone and K-Brad at ELeague today. However, with $250,000 on the line these two competitors will undoubtedly be fighting their hardest to come out on top.

You can catch the ELeague action right here on EventHubs beginning at 1 p.m. PDT. We will be providing live tournament results, so be sure to follow along with us!
