During today's Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that the game will be seeing some improvements on day one.

According to JardFGC, who live tweeted the entire panel, Yoshinori Ono appeared on stage to inform attendees of the upcoming changes. He started out by asking fans about Chun-Li's face, which has received quite a bit of negative feedback on account of it looking... off.

Ono stated that Chun-Li's face specifically and other characters on the roster will be seeing improvements on day one of the game's release.

In the EVO build of the game, slight changes appear to have already been made to Chun's face. You can check out a comparison between the older version and the updated one here.

Since its initial reveal, the game's art style has taken some flack from fans. Many feel the overall look feels drab and dark, and other characters such as Dante don't look all that polished.

If improvements are set for launch day, it is likely that we will see them come in the form of a day 1 patch. Chances are users will be prompted with an update when firing up the game for the first time and once downloaded, the changes will be live.

It will be interesting to see what kind of improvements the developers will be making here.
